If you need a prescription refilled, please call your pharmacist first. If the refill is not authorized, you will then need to call our office. Please have the number of your pharmacy on hand. Our physicians or nurse practitioners must have access to medical records to authorize prescription renewals, therefore please call for refills during regular working hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., by calling (434) 817-8484 Ext. 2.
To ensure proper treatment, some prescriptions may not be refilled without an office visit. An automated telephone answering service for refills is available for your convenience. If a message has been left requesting a refill, we will contact you by phone to inform you when the prescription has been filled.
